What personal data we may collect and why we collect it
We may collect and process the following data about you:
- Information that you provide, by:
- completing your course application form;
- subscribing to our mailing list;
- requesting further information, services or content.
This includes your title, full name, postal & email addresses and other contact information, work experience, and educational background.
- Details of your visits to our website. These include, but are not limited to:
- details of the computer or other device that you are using, and its operating system;
- details of the web browser you are using;
- details of your language settings;
- traffic data;
- location data;
- IP address data; and
- other communication data.
Who we share your data with
We do not share your data with any outside sources.
How long we retain your data
Where you are a candidate through booking a course, we retain your data for as long as you remain an active participant. Where there has not been any activity for three years we will contact you to check you still wish to retain your account with us. Where you decide to cancel your account or we do not hear further from you, your data will be deleted. Where you have subscribed to receive marketing correspondence from us we will keep your personal data for marketing purposes and for the period of time referred to above. This is subject to exercising your right to unsubscribe from receiving such correspondence at any time.
Requesting access to the data and deletion
Subscribers are able to edit, update and unsubscribe their Personal Data held by Mailchimp for Embody Move, and if you have any queries or complaints we encourage you to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org .
Alternatively, and if you have given personal data at point of booking a course you may make a formal request to have us rectify any inaccurate Personal Data on your behalf by sending an email to email@example.com . Your email should also attach a copy of your passport or national identity card (for identity verification purposes).
How we protect your data
All website data is submitted over SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) which is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral. Your data is stored on password protected devices.
We seek to use reasonable security measures to help protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the Personal Data under our control. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. In addition, please note that emails, messages sent via your web browser, and other similar means of communication with other users, are not encrypted. Therefore, while we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its security.
