In this course we focus on the inter-relationship of body and mind, dealing holistically with the embodied and mindful approaches to self knowing, self development and being in the world. We explore the innate wisdom of the body and how embodied awareness influences and shapes our thinking. Conversely we discover how the body is shaped by the way we think, feel and perceive and so act in the world. The underlying philosophy is based in the knowledge we find in our personal experiential embodiment process and how to use this reflexively in the way we work with others. By being aware of our own affinities and preferences we become more able to perceive and find strategies to support others to experience and develop theirs.
